Margot explores the barriers Black women with careers in science had to break, and how, with the support of colleagues, they expanded the boundaries of possibility in the workplace and in science. Proceeds from the Authors for Literacy Event will benefit programs to help people of all ages reach their personal and educational goals through the power of literacy. Literacy Together provides volunteer tutors to more than 450 students and sends books to over 6,600 preschool children in Buncombe County.
