About the event

The Authors for Literacy Dinner & Auction is the largest annual fundraiser for Literacy Together and features a presentation by a New York Times bestselling author. Guests enjoy a three-course dinner, presentations by a Literacy Together staff, board, students, and a keynote presentation by the featured author. The evening will close with a book signing for the general admission guests managed by Malaprop’s Bookstore.

Each featured author has penned at least one New York Times bestseller, but their genres range from thriller to Southern comedy to short stories. Because of their wide-ranging readerships, each author brings a new flavor and audience to the event.
